The League

MDT Golf is the Medtronic employee golf league. Eight teams of six play nine holes every Monday evening at Columbia Golf Club in Minneapolis, from the first week of May through mid‑September, with tee times starting at 4:30pm.

The league exists to give Medtronic employees an outdoor physical activity to enjoy and a way to get to know people outside their own department — fun, exercise, self‑improvement and healthy competition, in that spirit. Every match is handicapped, so the golf is competitive whatever you shoot.

A season

The regular season runs in two halves, opening with a kickoff scramble and split by a mid‑year scramble, and it closes with the League Championship. Prizes are awarded at the end of the year, and there are proxies to win every week. The full rules, handicap method and scoring detail are on the Rules page.

MDTGolf.com carries the schedule, standings, stats and every scorecard the league has recorded since 2013. Captains set their week with the lineup tool, scores go in hole‑by‑hole from the course on live scoring, and handicaps recompute the moment a card is submitted. Add it to your phone’s home screen and it works on the course with a weak signal.
